The INdorsed Career Ready Graduate program is a statewide standard used by Indiana colleges and universities to certify students' preparation for professional work. Graduates with this certificate complete activities in professional identity (exploring strengths and ideal careers and developing tools to market skills to employers), professional experience (building relevant experience as well as training in professional practices), and professional skills (developing core, transferable skills like communication, teamwork and problem solving). See program guidelines for complete details. Participating Indiana schools implement the program in unique ways, but every school uses the same core requirements to ensure that INdorsed Career Ready Graduates achieve the same level of career preparation.
The INdorsed program was piloted in the 2011-2012 academic year by Franklin College, Hanover College, Indiana University and Ivy Tech-Madison Campus. The program will launch statewide in fall 2012 and is open to participation from any CDPI-member campus. In order to participate, schools must register with CDPI according to the schedule below. There is no fee to participate in the program.
